Location: Lincoln Brick Park | Grand Ledge, Michigan

This is the first of a series of location blog posts I will be publishing, to highlight some of my favorite locations to photograph! Any of the mentioned spots are open to the public. 

First up is Lincoln Brick Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan - The deserted ruins of Lincoln Brick Factory. The remaining brick walls are tucked back in the woods, creating a very unique and beautiful setting for photos.

Adjacent to the ruins, there is a water-filled gravel pit surrounded by trees. It is quite the trek back up the hill from visiting the gravel pit, but so worth it! It doesn't look like a typical Michigan body of water, either. The rock / concrete surrounding the pit make it look mountainous, like something out West. So gorgeous!
